Rotary Ribfest offers new drive-thru format for 2020

Keeping with the spirit of Ribfest, but complying with COVID-19 restrictions, the Rotary Club of Orangeville is hosting Drive-Thru Ribfest on Friday, July 17 and Saturday, July 18.

The smaller, but just as tasty version of the annual summer festival will feature ribs prepared by Gator BBQ and Billy’s World Famous BBQ. Scooter’s Food Truck will also be serving hot dogs, fries, pourtine and grilled cheese sandwiches.

Food can be ordered at the drive thru located at Headwaters Racquet + Fitness Club. The drive-thru format will allow Orangeville Rotary to safely serve you ribs and more, without you having to leave your car. Donations are also being accepted for Headwaters Health Care Centre.

On Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m., the Campfire Poets will perform live to an online audience in lieu of their annual performance at Ribfest. The concert will be streamed via Facebook and YouTube. The concert is free, but online donations are being accepted for Headwaters Health Care Centre.
